100%

Monkey got 100% on her math quiz. The questions were mostly fair, with some weird word problems as usual. She managed to get it all right. When we work with her at home, she is mostly stressed, as she can barely answer our questions. Poor thing would make numerous mistakes.

Well, it is better to make mistakes at home than at school.

She was so proud of her score and told us that she was the only one getting 100%. Then she demanded a good meal out as the reward. We declined. MonkeyMama knew that she wanted to go to McD's because of My Little Pony toys. Well, maybe she can use her allowance to get the happy meal this weekend.

We are very happy that her hard work finally paid off. MonkeyMama told her that it is more important to work on hard subjects than to get 100%. If a task is hard and she can't get 100% the first time, it is perfectly okay. It just means she needs more practice and then she will get 100%.

MonkeyMama is afraid that Monkey would become obsessed with 100% and refuse to be challenged. She should take risks, if failed, then keep working on it.
